Using a Gazebo for Cars
For those who work on cars it can be quite a pain in the Winter months with fewer hours of daylight and the terrible weather conditions that can impact how much work you can get done and if you can get work done at all.
Recently we have seen a trend in the number of car companies, especially the smaller companies, who have benefited from the use of a pop up gazebo. Using a pop up tent has allowed them to continue working on their cars out of the rain where they would have been stuck before. Two companies have also been able to expand as they now have extra covered space available without having any extra rental costs! The range of companies has also proved to be quite varied within the motor industry. We have had window tinters, car wrapping, dent pulling/bodywork repair, mobile detailers, drift and rally teams and even mobile engine cleaning come to us needing something that can be put up easily and is strong enough that you can rely on it staying put and not damage the car/bike underneath!
The plain coloured Poptents come with the full set of sides included allowing you to fully enclose a car under the pop up tent. This is equivalent to having a second garage or workspace that allows you to carry on working on your car regardless of what the weather is doing!
The most popular size for using over a car is the 3m x 4.5m (10ft x 15ft) as you can cover most hatches and coupes completely while covering the majority of a saloon to allow a partial wrap or to work on the windows. Two joined together gives a 6m x 6m space that will fit any type of car with plenty of room to work around the exterior. Both above images are using the 3x4.5m Poptent.
The folded down size of our tents is approximately 165cm x 30cm x 30xm and comes with a wheeled bag, allowing it to be transported and stored really easily. All of Poptents gazebos come with the full sides included and are the heavy duty range of tents. This means they are the strongest type of frame available with thick aluminium, reinforced legs and roof bars and metal joints throughout. They are also really easily popped up with easy glide sliders, you can have the canopy up in under a minute and can be done by yourself making the tents really practical.
